The following agreement (“this Agreement”) describes the terms and conditions on which the Kittley Ltd offers you access and use of material found on this website (“the Website”) and the Anim8 app (“the App”) (collectively “the Service”). By using the Service you accept and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Service. Kittley Ltd only grants you the rights contained in this Agreement in consideration of your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Service. The Service is provided free of charge solely for purposes that are non-commercial and conducive to education, teaching, learning, private study, and/or research. You agree not to use the Service for any commercial, business or resale purposes, and Kittley Ltd has no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
All intellectual property rights in and to the Service are either owned by or licensed to Kittley Ltd. You acknowledge that this Agreement does not assign or transfer ownership, title or interest of the intellectual property rights in the Service to you.
This Agreement and the relationship between you and Kittley Ltd shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You and Kittley Ltd agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement will be subject to and within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Each time you use the Service via the website or mobile App, the following information may be collected: the type of mobile device or browser you use, your mobile operating system and information about the way you use the App - such as how many times you use the application, how long you use it for, and how far you progressed. This data is collected to enable analyse of how the App is used.
In common with many organisations, the project uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by GoogleInc to enable us to analyse how our website is used. This means that information about use of our website may be transmitted to Google Inc. This information does not enable you to be identified and is not considered privacy intrusive. Users of the most popular web browsers can install a browser add-on which prevents information being transferred to Google. We use Google Analytics to automatically log certain information about every visit to the site. This includes your IP address1, service provider, and information relating to your requests from our servers, for example date and time, referrer, user agent (browser), request type and details of request size. This information is anonymous and does not identify the user’s personal details.Data Usage & Storage:
The data outlined above is stored by securely on the lawful basis of “Contract” – to ensure the Service functions appropriately and provides the best user experience, and Public Task - the Service is the outcome of a research project conducted at UCL and funded by a UK Research Institute. In accordance with normal academic practice, aggregated anonymised information about usage of the Service in reports to demonstrate impact and disseminate research results. The project is ongoing, so the data will be stored for the duration of the project. Kittley Ltd may also share such information with third parties who are under contract to act for Kittley Ltd. Such information however will be anonymous and will not enable you to be identified.
You can stop all collection of information by the App easily by uninstalling the App, or by ceasing to visit or use the Website, or installing a brower add on as above.Kittley Ltd will endeavour to be transparent about its processing of your personal data.
